NUMBER OF STUDENTS VARIES

This is a reserved class for 8th-9th grade only who have been promoted.

Students will meet three times per month with other advanced students. This class requires students to engage in critical thinking and deductive reasoning. The topics in this class are more mature and engaging to older students who need a challenge.

Each month, students will debate two sides of a divisive issue.

-Week 1:  Argue for the proponent’s side

- Week 2:  Argue the opponent’s position

- Week 3: The third week is reserved for rhetorical analysis from an opinion editorial or a standardized essay prompt for students to write their own opinion to reflect on that month’s topic.

College Essay Assistance

Reserved for existing or former students

This is reserved for any existing or former student in my program.

These narrative essays are personal, time consuming, and must be edited/revised multiple times. Constructive criticism is vital for this process, which is why I require a personal relationship with those students I am assisting.

NOTE: I no longer offer my SAT high school class as College Board canceled the essay portion on the test. I have no plans to reintroduce a high school class.

Pricing
